25mm Dual Use Bases: 60 Hard Plastic Bases

These are a new kind of 25mm round base that has been designed to work with figures that have either an integral puddle base or flat feet. One side has a 23mm x 1mm indented recess so that figures with puddle bases will have their feet flush with the edge and eliminate that ‘standing on a hill’ look. The other side is flat for figures which will have their feet glued directly to the base. These bases have a low 2mm profile to blend well with the tabletop and there is also a 3mm x 1mm hole to add a magnet for secure storage or for use with a movement tray. $35.00 USD

AFGHAN CAVALRY: 28mm Figures

This set includes twelve cavalry in 28mm, typical of the North-West Frontier during conflicts with the British from the 1830s-1920s. Depending on weapon choices, they would not be inappropriate from 1700 up to the present time. These fearsome warriors used their cavalry to great advantage in stalking and launching attacks on the British and other invaders from their mountainous homeland. This is a graphic update of the classic Simulations Canada game designed by Stephen Newberg and originally published in 1984. It is medium-complexity, strategic-level, with quarter-year turns and a large-hex map that covers all of Britain and the eastern half of Ireland. Special rules cover political infighting, religion, leaders, the navy, and much more. There is a grand scenario covering the whole war and four shorter ones. THE CHURCHILL CROCODILE: 141 Regiment RAC (The Buffs)

Explores how the British Army started the development of flamethrowers in 1938, which then evolved into being tank-mounted. The 141 (The Buffs) Regiment RAC had been converted to Churchill Tanks at the end of 1941, and in early 1944, they were earmarked for another change of role to the Crocodile conversion of the new Mk VII Churchill tank. This flame throwing system was secret and started to arrive with the regiment in April 1944. After D-Day, there followed a period of misuse, but by the middle of the Normandy campaign, a clear doctrine for the use of the Crocodile emerged and they were in great demand. ROYAL MARINES IN RUSSIA, 1919: Battling the Bolsheviks During the Intervention

Explores the story of a 23-year-old Royal Marines officer, Thomas Henry Jameson, who was deployed by the British during the Russian Civil War to assist the White Russians. His mission took him and his men on a journey of 5,000 miles from Vladivostok to the battlegrounds not far from Moscow. As part of a White Russian Flotilla, they steamed down the huge Kama River and fought a series of successful battles against superior Bolshevik gunboats. Later, they were forced to retreat and had to fight their way back, the threat of execution looming over them if caught. FROM DUNKIRK TO D-DAY: A Commando’s War

THE BREAKTHROUGH OF KAMPFGRUPPE PEIPER IN THE BATTLE OF THE BULGE

Kampfgruppe Peiper was the spearhead of the German 6th Panzer-Army in the Ardennes, responsible for clearing the way for the German tanks towards the Meuse and Antwerp. It was endowed with considerable firepower and motivated veterans. It had to rush forward, without regard to its flanks, to seize bridges over the Meuse River before the American Army had time to react. One after the other, bridges were being blown in front of Peiper. Out of fuel, he found himself at a standstill, isolated at La Gleize. Analyzes the events as they occurred, minute by minute, explaining the reasons for Peiper’s failure. Contains 150 mono illustrations. $43.00 USD
