| We’re pushing crowdfunding for Total War: ROME: The Board Game into January 2022.We’ve made the decision to push back crowdfunding for Total War: ROME: The Board Game, from November 30th to January 17th. We want to make sure this is the best possible Total War game we can deliver and we’re still working through some behind-the-scenes tasks to ensure this, as well as making the Gamefound crowdfunding campaign as good as it can be for everyone! We’ve also heard the voices of the community on the card art, and we’d like some time to address this to explore alternative options. We really want to make a game that is not only incredible to play, but looks incredible too! Talking about art, we’re almost there with the map design and it is looking gorgeous! You can see a picture of it in our latest Designer Diaries for Total War: ROME on our website here. Simon has also been working hard on his unique BattlePlay system, which will be a more in-depth combat card system of Total War: ROME and includes features like tactic cards, which enable you to control your army like a true Roman general. We can’t wait to share this with you over the coming weeks, because it is so much fun!We’d like to thank you for your patience and we can’t wait to see you on Gamefound in January! |
